Jason Dixon

(aka "bastard child of Mason" Dixon or Baffoon Boy)
Began as The Power Pig overnight jock, then moved to produce the MJ & BJ show for a while, moved over to then-1250WDAE, later 620WDAE The Sports Animal to cause trouble for a while (he SAYS he ran the place), now works for the Tampa Bay Lightning as Director of Broadcast Programming.

Jay Valez

Jay briefly held down weekends for 93.3FLZ in 2001. Oddly enough, he is the only one who ever LEFT US to go work for not only a "Q" but also for "WiLD". MMMhhhmmm!. That's Q100/Atlanta & WiLD 98.7/Knoxville. He's now known as "Carter" and briefly programmed and handled afternoons at 98.1 KISS FM/Chattanooga. Atlanta we hear is home once again right now.

"Hollywood"
Jeff Laurence

CLICK LOGO for HILARIOUS "behind the scenes" PIG stories from JEFF.

Jeff was the Z93 Creative Services Director and midday jock when the Power Pig came flying through. Though he says he had a blast, he wanted to stay with the oldies and instead took an offer from U92 and Scott Robbins.
Now owns his own voiceover business in the North Carolina Mountains.

Jeff Thomas

The "always honest" Jeff Thomas stepped into The Power Pig's afternoon drive after Hawk & Marty and zoomed to #1 25-54 after the transition to 93.3FLZ. jeff, along with Jennifer Jordan, had the tremendous opportunity to do mornings together just across the hall at Star 95.7 as "Jeff and Jenn". After about a year, the station shifted gears musically and they moved on to do mornings at Q102 in Cincinnati. No, they are not married to EACH OTHER for the many of you who asked.

JenniferJordan

For the better part of ten years, it was Jenn's personality that made Tampa Bay bring a pig with them to lunch. She ruled The Power Pig's midday with the Power Lunch Jam and 93.3FLZ's At Work Network. Now at Q102/Cincinnati doing mornings with Jeff Thomas.

Jeff Tanner

(aka Jeff Kapugi) although Jeff may kill or sue us for this, please see him under "Booger".

Joey B

former 93.3FLZ MJ Morning Show producer, now producing for Chio In The Morning at Q102/Philadelphia.

Jomama Johnson

He gave urban music it's very first show on a Tampa Bay FM station with "The Quiet Storm" every Sunday night on The Power Pig and 93.3FLZ. The show was always on top of the ratings and in 2002 was expanded to five nights a week. In 2003, he was able to give urban music another first as he became Program Director & Quiet Storm host for Tampa Bay's new 95.7 The Beat, the urban/hip hop formats first ever full signal FM outlet in Tampa.

Jon
'Rock N Roll' Anthony

This market legend was the first night jock for the Power Pig and they didn't have to look far to find him. He had just left his #1 rated show at Q105 to come do nights for what was then-oldies Z93. It was a no-brainer to hold him over through the change to the Pig, where he very quickly became #1 again and handled afternoon drive. Interestingly enough, Jon even made a brief stop at Mix 96 and then again as Q105's night guy in the mid-90's as "Jon Rock n COUNTRY" Anthony before returning as a weekender and then later Production Director of 93.3FLZ, 970 WFLA and Star 95.7. He now runs a very successful voiceover / production company of his own. CLICK FOR HIS SITE.

Juan Rodriguez

Juan was the producer of Tom Steele's late night Power Pig show. He didn't speak English but his presence was always indicated on air by his Mexican hat dance sounding theme music. Federal raids on Tom's house caught Juan with no green card. He's now in Tijuana's club industry where he hands moist towelettes to men after they pee.

Jule Tate

Jule manned the early morning traffic (even BEFORE McHenry becomes part of the living each day) for 93.3FLZ and the MJ Morning Show for the better part of 2000 to February 2004. few know Jule is also a very talented singer for a heavy metal band also. Last time I saw her was on the corner of Kennedy & Westshore ... in the car behind me, not walking it (geez).

Kane

hosted 93.3FLZ's "Extreme Show" weeknights with Munchie, Kooz & Chubb Rock and was even syndicated to other Clear Channel stations. An offer from a new, small but ambitious company called XM would make him the new Program Director & afternoons - 90's on 920 on 20 XM Satellite Radio - Washington DC. Missing "real" radio?? In March 2004, Kane began as host of the Sunday night version of nationally syndicated  "The Open House Party" which 93.3FLZ picks up Sundays 7pm to midnight. Two months later on June 7th, Kane returned to weekday nights on 93.3FLZ & by Nov. 2004, he had also moved up to Assn't Program Director/Music Director/afternoons. Keep up with Kane CLICK HERE.

Kelly Brannigan

aka Debbie Kelly, manned early morning traffic in the mid-90's. Now working for Metro Networks News/Phoenix.

Kelly McKay

This former Power Pig weekender has been in afternoons at WZPL/Indianapolis ever since she left. Seems she took a little of the Power Pig attitude with her, her show is dubbed "Panty-Free Radio".

Kramer

Kramer once held down the night post of 93.3FLZ and was then seen doing... talk radio...not like politics though....at FM Talk 97.1 Detroit. Teamed with a dude named "Twitch", they found their way back down south and held down mornings at O-Rock 105.9 in Orlando for a short while, under the reincarnated names of "Keith & Tony". Kramer was last seen hitchhiking up I-75 northbound.

Lisa Paige

Lisa started as a 93.3FLZ weekend jock in 2000 and just as she got settled in, Jennifer Jordan moved over to then-Star 95.7 with Jeff Thomas. Lisa got the midday gig, a new puppy and a fiancé all around that same time. Her bouncy, perky personality made her a favorite of everyone's. Then more change...her fiancé was the producer for 970WFLA talk show host Glenn Beck. Premiere Radio Networks had hired Glenn for a national show...based in Philly. Q102/Philadelphia brought her on board to do traffic, morning show co-host and eventually, yes, back to middays. In October 2004, Lisa was moved back to mornings to co-host with Chio and yup, that's still her you hear filling on 93.3FLZ occasionally in middays.

Magic Marco

At one time or another, The Power Pig used to throw down a morning mix called Toast & Jam, then another mix at 12 noon (What was that one called?). Tampa Bay was hearing some mixes never heard on the radio here before and Magic Marco was the guy behind em ! Marco's stay was short and new guys came on board that have been with us ever since.... Matt The Bratt and Stan The Man. Marco is now on the promotions end of the biz in New York. click here to check it out.

Man At Large

"Man At Large" is just a tiny part of who he REALLY is. Long story short, back in 1990, Man At Large worked with a young DJ in Detroit named Domino at WDFX. Together, the two began plotting world domination. Domino leaves for Tampa, tells Man At Large he'll send for him later. Domino gets hired by the coolest station in the country, The Power Pig. He forgets world domination. Fast forward to 1999, Domino has become Program Director of 93.3FLZ. With this position he will achieve...world DOMINOation. He then remembers his friend Man At Large...sends for him...puts him on the air. Not good. Man At Large suggests world domination by the World Wide Web. Domino agrees and tells him to make it so. Man At Large sat down at his computer determined. He made 933FLZ.com the #1 site in the company. Next, he took over the other stations sites in the building, then entire region's sites and now Man At Large is Director of Operations, Clear Channel Internet Group and better known to most as Jeff Vettrus. Oh, the world domination plan? Jeff's still working on it, only thing is, no one told him Domino went back to Detroit. We should probably let him off the hook soon.

Marc Chase

Yes, the Marc part of the Fathead and Marc In The Morning show was the original Power Pig Program Director Marc Chase. One day, Marc started climbing this ladder (kinda like Jack and The Beanstalk), all we could do is watch. He's now a Programming VP for Clear Channel - It was a corporate ladder. Thanks Marc for everything you put into the Pig!

Mark
"The Shark" Larsen

Most would never think that this talk show host was a Power Pigger. Not only was he, but he was an original. He had been the Program Director of the oldies format on 93.3 before the Pig debuted. He was the first Power Pig afternoon jock but later went down the hall to start his new talk host career with Newsradio 970 WFLA as midday host, a position he held for years. He now does mornings at Newstalk 1040 where he hosts "The Morning Magazine" as well as owning a voiceover/recording studio.
